The CM2 training has been a significant gain for me, enabling me to acquire new skills that will help me advance in my career. Semiha Hanım's profound knowledge and experience in the subjects were quite impressive. She instilled great confidence in me when it came to understanding and applying the topics. The quality of the training materials, the practical exercises, and the presentation made the learning process much easier. Furthermore, her satisfying answers to our questions helped me gain a better understanding of CM2. The interactions and feedback we experienced during the training made this experience even more valuable.
Our organization produces strategically important carbon fiber and composite products; In recent years, it has started to provide various products to the defense industry and aerospace sector. In this industry we just entered, we encountered different standards and applications, such as configuration management.
In order to increase the competence and knowledge of our employees, we sought training, but we could not find an institution and trainer rich in technical content and experienced in practical applications within the scope of configuration management.
But with the latest reference, we talked to SemPro.
We are satisfied with the theoretical and practical applications and trainer competencies of the trainings we have received so far; We plan to be involved in CM trainings in the future.
Thanks to CM2 Trainings, I learned that we can monitor the product lifecycle from beginning to end. While you can follow the product in a simple way with CM2, you can save time, effort and cost by minimizing errors. I realized how practically the chronic problems we encounter in our daily business life can be solved with the right approaches. With the CM2 philosophy, I believe that processes in companies will be better managed in a competitive environment.
"With these trainings, I gained a broad perspective on the importance of change and change management as well as the importance of documentation. The importance of having process definitions in certain lines, as well as making the change and its follow-up as simple and understandable as possible, were the critical details that the CM2 approach gave me. It is obvious that the right planning and the right definition will put companies ahead in configuration management.
I see understanding the CM2 process as an important requirement to be a pioneering company."
Thank you for the training.
CM2/IPX methodologies provide a useful standard and guidance for companies developing and manufacturing products. There are two features that I find crucial in the CM2/IPX method. It emphasizes product requirements and BOM planning and uses change management as a tool for continuous improvement.
During my 15 years as a PLM employee and consultant, I had the opportunity to meet many companies and work with engineering groups. As a part of this experience, I saw the following shortcomings in engineering companies in Turkey: They still waste time and energy in correcting mistakes. They still do not have an institutional understanding of the product trees and the changes on them and they do not benefit enough. They still have not been able to create a sustainable engineering environment. It is possible to overcome them; however, an experienced guide is needed.
With the experience and close support of Sempro, I believe the CM2/IPX methodology will be an effective and useful way partner to overcome these difficulties.
The fact that companies that actively operate the Configuration Management process design their processes with an international standard significantly increases the Configuration Management Process quality.
This training provides great guidance along with practical work as well as interpreting all the clauses of the relevant standard one by one.
For me, CM2 training is far beyond being a set of learned methods, it is a perspective and a systematic development tool to produce effective solutions. The training set I received up to the CM2-P level allowed me to go beyond the stereotypes stemming from institutional blindness, to question what we do and why, and to understand that change is possible at any scale. As our esteemed trainer Semiha Yaşar, who opened our horizons with her deep knowledge and experience during the training, said, "If not me, who, if not now, when?". Many thanks for your hard work.
