Graduated in 1999 in Information Technology, Martin immediately was confronted with configuration management on his first job in the defense industry.

In succeeding positions, CM became more dominant, eventually leading to his current position as Configuration Management Business Architect at ASML.

In this position, he is driving the introduction of a CM2 based change process and teaching the ASML in-house CM2-12 courses.

Martin’s CM2 training started in 2006 leading to CM2-P certification in 2015. In 2017, Martin became IpX's first and only current recipient of the CM2-Doctorate.

Onur UYE was born in Ankara in 1981 and graduated from Osmangazi University, Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2003. In 2006, he started to work at TEI Design Engineering Directorate. 

Since 2006, he has taken part in Design Quality, Design Assurance, Airworthiness and Certification activities in many design and development projects. 

Since 2017, he has been the head of the Design Integrity and Airworthiness team to which the System Safety/RMT, Airworthiness/Certification and Configuration Management units are affiliated.

In 2006, she graduated from METU Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. After working as a quality assurance and control engineer in the iron and steel industry in İskenderun for two years, she joined TAI as a manufacturing engineer.

She took part in TIHA project as both detail part engineer and assembly manufacturing engineer. Later, she worked as an assembly manager in TCI, a subsidiary of TAI, THY and THY Teknik A.Ş.

She is working in FNSS Savunma Sistemleri A.Ş. for more than 5 years as a Senior Leader Assembly Manufacturing Engineer.

She is actively involved and represents manufacturing engineering department in projects related to the expansion of CM2 and improvement of existing configuration management processes in FNSS Savunma Sistemleri A.Ş.

Guido Weischedel (Graduate Electronics Engineer, born 1959) worked for a major automotive supplier in the software and hardware development of electronic engine control units before establishing his own company named ESM Software in 1987. ESM Software focused on the distribution of tools for software developers including tools like PVCS and StarTeam for software configuration management.

Guido has written several articles and one book on configuration management. He is a well-known speaker on conferences and is CM2 Professional certified.

He began teaching CM2 courses in the German language in 1998. His company ESM Software was renamed to GfKM in 1999. GfKM began offering public CM2 courses in most of Europe in 2004.

Based on more than 30 years of practical experience in Configuration Management and by providing CM2 trainings to hundreds of students he is the lead instructor and lead assessor of the European CM2 initiative. Guido has trained people from all types of industry in Configuration Management (CM2) around the globe in countries like Germany, UK, The Netherlands, Canada, Sweden, Thailand, South Korea, Spain, Italy, Finland, Norway, Etc.

In addition to trainings Guido has executed several process assessments in organizations to help them with process improvement initiatives.

In 2018 the company name got changed from GfKM to IpX Europe - The Institute for Process Excellence (www.ipxeu.com).

He graduated from METU Mechanical Engineering in 2000. In 2003, He completed his master's degree in the same department. He is currently pursuing the Executive MBA program at Bilkent University.After working at METU Biltir Center and TAI, he has been working at FNSS Defence Systems since 2007 in different positions. He has been serving as Department Manager for 5 years and he is leading a team of 48 people.

In addition to FNSS’s existing projects, Mehmet and his team are concentrating on improving engineering processes and IT infrastructures related to FNSS’s PLM system, CAD environment and other engineering software. In addition, they are working in the field of enterprise configuration management with their ongoing CM2 transition project and they continue to work in the field of FNSS Digitalization.

Nuray working as a chief of Configuration and Product Management Division at ROKETSAN, Tactical Missile System Group. She has more than twenty years of experience specifically in configuration management of defense projects. Over these years she worked as a configuration specialist/manager for many design and development projects for Turkish Armed Forces.

She has CM2-P degree in Integrated Process Excellence. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Metallurgy Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.

Nazan Gozay Gurbuz (BSME, MSME, Executive MBA) worked at TUSAŞ, STM and TRACES Aerospace in civil and military aircraft design, production and modification projects for 20 years and founded her own company TAOS Certification and Engineering in 2016. TAOS provides training and consulting services in military and civil aviation industry. In the scope of consulting and training services, TAOS establishes companies’ design and production organization infrastructures according to aviation regulations and trains their employees in airworthiness certification, system safety and safety management systems.

Gurbuz has been an active member of SAE International S-18 Aircraft & Systems Development and Safety Assessment Committee since 2008 and has provided key contributions to development of SAE-ARP-4754A Aircraft Development Processes and SAE-ARP-4761A Safety Assessment Processes. She has been providing trainings and consulting services related to these ARPs. http://www.taoscertification.com/    

Mike McKinney has worked in various design engineering roles for the last 40 years and in the consumer appliance industry for the last 27 years.

Earning his CM2 Professional certification (CM2-P) in 2015. He has also served in a leadership role since 2015 as the IPE/CM2 Global Congress Secretary.

His dedication to CM2 recently earned him a promotion within Sub-Zero Group. As the new Corporate CM2 Systems Leader, he plays a key role in building a CM2 group that will work across all departments to foster an environment for continuous improvement and reduced intervention effort.

She graduated from the Department of Computer Engineering at Middle East Technical University in 2015. In the same year, She started her business life in the Roketsan Missiles Company. She has been working as a software engineer in the field of PLM for 4 years.

She had CM2-Professional Certification (CM2-P) courses between 2017 and 2019. She completed her master's degree at METU Computer Engineering Department in 2019 by publishing a thesis titled "CM2-Based Physical Item Hierarchy Implementation for a Product Lifecycle Management System", which she applied the information she gained in CM2 training to my field.

She is currently working on the digital product continuity project of Roketsan as a PLM software engineer.

Ray has over 25 years of experience in high technology firms with 19 years in various management positions and was directly involved in the implementation of three PDM/PLM Solutions. He received CM2 certification in 1989 and joined IpX in 2003. He was on the Association of Configuration and Data Management's founding Board of Governors. Ray assumed the role of CEO of IpX on January 1, 2017. Ray has been coming to Turkey for four years to work with Sempro on CM2 training. He looks forward to spending time with his Turkish friends and sharing their CM2 journey.

Henrik is the founder of Configit and he has PhD in Computer Science from the University of Aarhus.

Henrik has 30 years experience in IT development and research. He is professor of Computer Science.

She was born in 1982 in Bakirköy, Istanbul. Graduated from Marmara University in 2004. In 2009, she completed the master's program at the same university She started his career as a CAD application engineer in 2004 at Mercedes-Benz Türk A.S. She is currently working as a consultant for BMC about Tank and New Generation Armored Vehicles in PLM Systems, CAD Methodologies and Configuration Management. She feels so great to see that the processes that make up the structure of the companies are designed and implemented.

Ayşe Selcen Karcılar has graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Mathematics in 2003.

After graduation, she has worked as Configuration and Quality Engineer/Manager in Ministry of Finance,  MilSOFT, AYESAŞ, LST Software and TURKTRUST.

During the last 10 years of her career, she has played an active role in the implementation, update and improvement of quality management systems and configuration management infrastructures in accordance with CMMI, ISO 9001 / AS-9100, ISO 12207, EIA-649, Mil-STD-973 standards.

Ayşe Selcen Karcılar is currently working as Quality Director in ESEN System.

Peter Bilello, President of the strategic management consulting and research firm CIMdata—an internationally recognized authority on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)—has more than 30 years of experience in the development of business-enabling information technology (IT) solutions for research, engineering, and manufacturing organizations worldwide. He has participated in PLM analysis, selection, implementation, and training; CAD/CAM/CAE/CIM implementation and management; synchronous and lean manufacturing consulting; software engineering; and general data management strategy development and support. He has authored numerous papers and research reports on PLM and related topics, and his articles, commentaries, and perspectives have appeared in publications throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Mr. Bilello has been directly involved with consultation on the selection, integration, and implementation of large-scale PLM solutions. He has spoken on a number of different PLM-related topics in Europe, North and South America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

Mr. Bilello holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Physics from the California State University, Fullerton, and a Master of Science in Engineering degree, in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, from The University of Michigan.

She graduated from Hacettepe University Electronics Engineering. For many years, she worked on Configuration Management at ASELSAN / HBT Sector Presidency. She actively took part in ASELSAN SAP ERP system installation. Between 2012 and 2015, she worked in the establishment of ASELSAN HBT EMC laboratory and carrying out EMC tests. Since 2015, she has been working on Configuration Management at UGES Sector Presidency and she is involved in ongoing PLM installation works.

In 2018, she started to take CM2 trainings. She completed CM2-01 - CM2-08 trainings and aims to become CM2-P by completing CM2-09 training in August 2019.

Murat started his career as a mechanical engineer at ROKETSAN. After 5 years of experience in the mechanical design department, he switched to the Business Solutions Department at the same company. He has been working as PLM Expert and managing PLM implementation projects in ROKETSAN for 4 years. He has participated and managed quite a number of process improvement projects. He holds a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering degree and MSc in Engineering Management from Middle East Technical University. He has a CM2-P degree in Integrated Process Excellence.

He graduated from METU, Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2001. He worked as a research assistant for 1.5 years in the same department. In 2004, he started to work as a researcher in Mechanical Design Unit of TÜBİTAK SAGE . Since 2006, he has taken part in the establishment and maintenance of enterprise information management systems such as Configuration Management and PLM. He is currently working as a Senior Researcher in Production Planning and Subcontractor Management Unit at TÜBİTAK SAGE.

He was born in 1982 in Samsun. He went to primary and secondary school and high school in Samsun. He graduated from Gazi University Industrial Engineering Department in 2003. In the same year, he started to work for Siemens. Then he worked at AYESAŞ and Atos. Since 2017, he has been working as a Configuration Management Team Leader at Havelsan. During his working life, he worked in the software industry in addition to Configuration Management in the fields of Software Development, Process Management and Project Management.

Kocabaşoğlu was born in 1978 and graduated from METU Mechanical Engineering. He began his career as a Configuration Management Engineer at Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI, or TA today).

In the last 9 years of his 12-year term, he worked as the Chief of the Configuration Management Department with the job description including the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Configuration Management Process for all projects at TAI.

In 2017, he joined FNSS Savunma Sistemleri A.Ş. as Configuration Management Unit Manager. As a CM2-Professional, he continues to develop and expand Configuration Management applications and processes at FNSS.

He was born in 1971 in Ankara. He completed his primary and high school education in Ankara. He graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Aeronautical Engineering in 1993. He completed his master's degree in the same department in 1996. He started his career at TÜBİTAK-SAGE in 1993 and has been working at ROKETSAN since 2000. He is currently the Air Defence Systems Director of ROKETSAN Tactical Missile Systems Group Presidency.

She graduated from METU Mechanical Engineering Department in 1996. She worked in the R&D Department of the Cooking Appliances Plant in Arçelik for more than 17 years. She took part in project management, business process development, product development, brand-factory acquisition and new factory installation projects.

She had an active leading role in the implementing of PLM (Siemens Teamcenter) and ERP (SAP) systems in Arçelik Plants. She worked as R&D Structural Design Team Leader in Arçelik Cooking Appliances Plant.

She has been working as a Senior R&D Specialist in Arçelik Washing Machine Plant since 2017. She is Business Unit Project Leader at CM (Configuration Management) Project to be implemented at Arçelik Washing Machine Plants globally (Turkey,Romania,Russia)

Emrah Tufan graduated and took his BSc, MSc and PhD degrees from METU. His graduate studies are about digital transformation and he has 19 years of experience in same field. Last year, he worked for Accenture Germany participated one of the biggest digital transformation project in the world belonging to one of prime aircraft manufacturer as a PLM consultant. His main duty is in configuration management area in that project. Now, he is leading digital product continuity project of Roketsan.

Paul Kaiser is the Vice President of Services at the Institute for Process Excellence (IpX), which provides training, standards and services to companies in enterprise operational excellence. He holds executive-level authority for the IpX global services organization, which is responsible for leading IpX clients through business and digital transformation.

Paul has more than 20 years of experience within the aerospace, automotive, and defense industries in various executive and management positions.

Martijn is a Lead Architect Configuration Management at ASML. He has a passion for CM and he creates awareness with businesses about the need for CM and has designed and deployed business processes based on CM2 best practices and implemented PLM to support these processes.

Next to his work at ASML, Martijn is chair of the IPX Congress and chair of the Industry 4.0 committee of the IPX Congress.

Martijn is always looking for improvements and discovers trends and takes initiative in introducing new capabilities and innovations like Industry 4.0 in order to help organizations increase quality, reduce time to market and reduce cost.

He has over 16 years of experience in both the CM and PLM domain. Martijn has a Master's in Industrial Engineering and Management Science and holds a CM2-P & CM2-S certification. 

She graduated from Middle East Technical University, department of Computer Engineering. She completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Istanbul. She worked as a System Analyst at Opus Information Systems of Reysaş Holding, as a Senior Software Engineer at TAI-TUSAŞ between 1998-2012, and as a consultant at SEMPRO between 2015-2016. While working at TAI-TUSAŞ, she worked as Project Leader in obtaining CMMI certificate, and during these studies, she entered Configuration Management issues with Software Configuration Management. As of 2016, Nurol Makina has been working as the Configuration Management Team Leader in the R & D Department. She is CM2-Professional certified. She is married and has one child.
